"We bought a piano, somebody in this house is going to play it."

Maybe that's a story I've told so many times I've started to believe it, but that's how it started (or rather, why after two sibling gave up the piano, I wasn't allowed to walk away), but thirty years later it's by far the greatest gift my parents ever gave me.

I've made good money playing music (nor great, but good), traveled far, met amazing people, had incredible experiences, and done things no national science fair bronze medalist has any business doing.
